Responsibilities

  • Provide electrical engineering expertise and guidance to the project engineering team.
  • Review work by junior engineers, including designs, drawings, specifications.
  • Provide leadership for assigned projects in regard to engineering, cost, schedule, quality, safety, and performance
  • Lead and motivate project teams to continually improve and exceed expectations.
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders
  • Ensure work is performed in compliance with applicable standards, IEEE, CSA and applicable codes and standards.
  • Monitor and report on progress, productivity, budget, cost, safety and forecast
  • Prepare, review and submit project estimates and price and schedules
  • Prepare contracts, changes and additions to contractual agreements with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants

Education/Work Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Licensed Professional Engineer in New Brunswick.
  • 3 – 5 years experience in electrical engineering of electrical power distribution, protection and control
